…of showing us what really matters. – Margaret Peters.

Carey & Dolly.

I think anyone who has a puppy and even 95% of those that don’t could see why this picture could mean so much. Even cat lovers could agree…
All I can say other than that is, ‘ahhhhhhhhh.’

Ok, so you may notice my numbers are a bit off… I plan on putting up number 15 image and inspiration once I get approval… that’s right… approval… ohhhh, how risque of erika LEIGH photography. But I’m not letting that slow me down, yesterday I promised two hot girls and here you have them… Carey (above… well and Dolly too) and Ms. Devon.
When Devon and I first met, we weren’t the best of friends… not like total enemies but just friends on the outsides of other friendships and so when they’d hang out we would sometimes run across each other. She had this hard edge about her, that I thought made her a hard person to get to know. This now is one of the things I love most about her. This quote ‘time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters’ is perfect on the topic of Devon. First, because it applies to my initial and now, after time, more mature opinion of her and her personality and also it fits so perfectly with her advice to me when I needed her advice more than anyones.
She has this unicorn-like blonde hair, yes I said unicorn-like because its long and makes all envious. She has these huge eyes and a killer complexion. All men want Devon, she does not want any of them. She is an honest and loyal person and funny beyond explanation. Those things are all great but even more amazing to me is her constant ability to care, something I was oblivious to at first. And in short, she has been my life line these past six months, at times it was only her words that could make sense of things and only her presence that could calm things. I mentioned before how she seemed ‘hard’… she is tough… she is strong… but as her friend now I realize in a whole new way how inspiring a trait that is. I’ve never questioned her advice, criticism or praise of me… I value her opinion above any other non family person in my life. Not long ago she suffered her own heartache and hurts me just to think about someone doing that to her, or how it could happen… but like her advice to me when suffering my own heartache and like this quote, time will heal and time will reveal answers we never thought possible.
I love you so much Dev, you are one of my closest friends and you are inspiring in so many ways… may you stay my friend for years to come when times gives you all the great things you deserve! I’ll drive you places…. no tabs needed. :)
